I was there when the policy was implemented and I observed the person changing the topic bar text, reflecting the policy.

Lesbian chat is for women. Your gender must be set to female in order to join the channel.
 
Whats seen on phone, is not the same as whats seen on computer, EVIDENTLY. Maybe thats why SOME MODS DONT PICK IT UP.

Lesbian chat is full of men posing as females—regular users with multiple male/female accounts. Some in multi-gender relationships. These complaints are hilarious for that reason.
